Does anyone know if the DSG and rear diff are the same in the 2026 RS3 and the 2026 S3? I ask because I need to know the maximum horsepower and torque the 2026 drivetrain can handle. Thanks.

They are different, I remember reading the internals are different because of the engine so it wouldnt be a direct swap.

Thanks. Not looking to swap. Want to know how much horsepower/torque the S3 drivetrain can handle.

Our cars can easily handle 450–500 hp safely with an upgraded clutch, intercooler, and injectors. Even a Stage 2 tune with a downpipe, intake, intercooler, and exhaust can get you around 400 hp / 370 lb-ft of torque.

Max horsepower and torque will be around 400 without major internal upgrades.

Engines, gearboxes, differentials, labor. It all colts money. A lot of money.

Yes, spare parts are more expensive than the original already in the car.
How can you afford those?

The car is a company car. They determine the budget. Repairs are my responsibility. Besides, why would I want to make a modification that would risk damaging the car? I always try to thoroughly research any significant modification before I purchase/install it. Two reasons: $$$$ and respect for the car.
