Front parking sensor replacement

So a rock from the highway broke the sensor next to the license plate. Dealer is charging me $1100 CAD before tax to replace it. I know this isnt the simplest job as you have to take the bumper out but is it doable at home? Only concern is if the sensor has to be programmed somehow but $1100+ seems quite high for just putting in a new sensor.
