Tinting laws

Do they drive you nuts? I just removed the side windows after a ticket at 14% he said. I can see perfectly fine even at night. I've been debating on going 50% which is still illegal in my state. but even 50% looks and feels like you have nothing on the car.
Inside visibly should be the distinction not seeing in. Have you ever done a highway offramp with the sun blasting in your face? You can franticly move the visor around and then back or you can have a nice tint and leave it on the front windshield. Sun glare is such a pain in my ass on my 80 mile commute. And forget about the baking sun on you for your hour commute. It really pisses me off that cops can pull you over for cosmetic items. There is no safety issue. And actually there's a safety issue not having tint.
I don't think can bring myself to go 70%(legal) or even 50% (illegal) maybe 35%. But what at pain in my ass I drove a Chevy volt with 20% all around for years as my commuter with no issue but since I have a bright green S3 they have to pull me over.
Every family car I've owned I run 20% with no issues what so ever. But as soon as you get anything slightly sporty they're all over you. I'm an old man I'm not some punk kid ripping around showing off to his friends. I just want to be comfortable while I'm driving my car. Sorry venting but I think it's ridiculous.

I'm scheduled to get all 3 of my cars tinted on Tuesday so I'll have to decide how dark I want to go.

Here you go nice and black and not one issue in 7 years but you put it on a viper green s3 and you're a criminal.
