I'm thinking of ordering a 2025 Golf R Black Edition. Just one concern: the "darkened headlights". Does this make a noticeable difference to light output?
If it is a problem, then I'll just go for the non- Black Edition.

The darkened headlights are not a functional upgrade; they don't change the headlight's performance or beam pattern. Instead, they are a cosmetic change that adds to the Black Edition's darker, more stealthy appearance.

which means functionality will be fine.
