Hey guys I have a 2019 Audi s3. When I bought the car I didn’t know it was already tuned, so I got an ecu tune with integrated engineering. Ran into some issues while doing so with the car not wanting to turn on. I later found out it was tuned with a Cobb access port so I bought a new AP for the car so I could have access to the ecu. The car was honestly super fast I’ve never had an s3 before. I don’t really know what kind of tune it had previously and it didn’t have any special mods at the time either. After attempting that integrated engineering ecu flash I guess it took off the tune it had so I re flashed it with the new AP I bought and just kept the AP tune. The car doesn’t feel the same at all and doesn’t seem anywhere near as fast as it was is there a chance there is something wrong with the ecu? It’s kind of weird sometimes the car will pull a lot harder for some reason but for the most part it doesn’t pull as hard. Any suggestions on this? I even took it to get dyno tuned after all this to see if it would fix the car and be the way it was when I originally got it but I honestly don’t think the dyno tune made a difference at all and feels pretty much the same.

If your car was previoulsdy tuned on a COBB it probably had a custom tune.
You can buy a tune from EQT for $175 which are safe and a lot better than the OTS tune that comes with the Access Port. The previous owner probably did not unmarried the AP correctly which will suck for him. Did you check if your car also has a DSG Tune?

Yeah it has a dsg tune now with the new AP I got for it but I feel like the car sometimes under performs. Do you think it’s something with the ecu? Also if I were to get a new ecu would It be as simple as plug and play or would I have to take it into a shop to get it specially registered to the car?

If the ECU had an issue you will know, These cars are sensitive when it comes to electronics or anything related to ECU. If you had issues with the ECU you wouldn't be able to upload the AP and Tune.
The underperformance can be that you need to do maintenance on the car. How many miles does the car have?

I guess you’re right it would be pretty obvious with the ecu. The car has 23,000 miles on it. Thank you for the help man much appreciated🙏
